Embassy Suites by Hilton Santa Ana Orange County Airport

This hotel is in need of a renovation!! The atrium area looks okay, but that's where it ends. My room had a few issues: bathtub peeling, floors worn, house phone inoperative, and heater didn't work. I reported the heater problem to the front desk. About 10 minutes later, housekeeping was at my door with a small space heater. She assured me engineering would stop by and look into the heat problem- they never did. The space heater was their solution. And they would never admit that. ||I tried using the fitness center- that was a disaster. The room is actually falling apart! Windows are dirty, Lots of rust, and the equipment is missing parts. ||Find another hotel- this place is very overpriced for the condition it's in.

Had a very enjoyable stay!! We stayed on the 7th floor and had a great view from our balcony. Enjoyed our breakfast with the enthusiastic omelet employee that always made my husband's morning, while the oatmeal station was a hit for me. This was actually a bucket list stay, as I remember this building driving down to the beach in the 80's, so took advantage when we needed to do a pickup in HB. Very happy with my stay and the front desk last Thursday night (3/5) and early Friday morning (3/6) just were wonderful!

Positive: Breakfast & Bed was comfortable Negative: We stayed at this facility for 6 nights and our room was serviced 1 time. We asked personally after the 4th day for maid service and still no one came. Our phone only worked for 1hr. Bathroom was old & tile looked scary to shower in.

We flew in for a business trip, stayed on the second floor and our room was a complete hot box. The AC wasn't working and I had been messaging back and forth with Elias and Abigail about the issue and they kept stating that the team is "working on it" or that they would "send up my team now" and there was absolutely no follow up and no one came to our room to fix anything. No offer to change rooms or anything. We were only there for the weekend and we spent most of our days out of the room, but we thought we would come back to something being fixed and there was NONE. Sheets were stained and I had to ask for new ones. The door knob was installed backwards because instead of pressing down to open, you have to pull up and push. And the floor was a bit dusty. I stay here often and was concerned about how the rooms sloped and just needed an update and quite frankly more. They have since replaced the carpeting with linoleum wood. Looks so much better; however, be careful at door jams on the floor. The lift is quite a bit higher. The rooms still could use updated outlets as plugs can and will fall out. I the bathroom, the shower curtains need a better liner as the floor was "flooded" and the foot towel completely dripping. The bed was large and comfortable and the room thermostat had a mi d of its own until I turned it off. I dropped the temp to 50° because it didn't feel like it was cooling down. The freeway can be heard and at times be loud but I was on the 10th floor and it kind of sounded like white noise, which I slept fine with. I do travel
