Element Fort Lauderdale Downtown

We stayed one night, January 23-24. The hotel is visually impressive, being brand new ( open 3 weeks, at the time) modern, clean, and located close driving distance to the airport. The smart elevators, with iPad- like touch screens, and the shared space with the Dalmar took some getting used to, but weren’t negatives. The pool area was pleasant, with comfortable lounge chairs, an outdoor bar, and side tables with call buttons for service, and the pool attendant was efficient. No fault of the hotel, but there is a lot of construction going on in the immediate neighborhood, and it is visible and within hearing distance of the pool deck. Stayed 3 nights, joining my wife on her work trip to Fort Lauderdale. She'd stayed previously at the Delmar and had a great experience. Unfortunately, this stay was less than stellar. It seems the Element and the Delmar are sister properties, as they share many amenities and branding, communication, etc. The hotel is valet only, and they charge 5-star hotel valet prices. Our check-in process was slow and disorganized, and there was (I assume) a new employee at the front desk who was doing their new-hire training or some sort of training on the front desk computer, while a line of people waited to check in. Great stay at Element Fort Lauderdale (Dalmar complex). The staff truly made the experience — friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. Special thanks to the Lobby Bar Manager and Ismael, the bartender, for outstanding service. The Lobby Bar and poolside food were excellent.||Hotel was very clean, amenities were well maintained, and the location was perfect — easy walking distance to Las Olas and convenient for getting around. While the Terrace Grill wasn’t open during our stay, it didn’t detract from an otherwise very enjoyable experience.||Would gladly stay here again and recommend it.

My stay was unfortunately very frustrating due to the elevator situation. The elevators were consistently delayed and unreliable, often leaving guests waiting long periods just to get to their rooms or meetings. On several occasions, I had to use the stairs because the wait times were so excessive. This caused me to be late to scheduled commitments and significantly impacted my overall experience. For a property at this price point, I expected basic reliability and a smoother guest experience. I hope management addresses this issue, as dependable elevators are essential for accessibility and guest satisfaction.

Good food, clean and stellar sevice!! My family and I checked in at the Element Fort Lauderdale Downtown Hotel, before we began our Disney Destiny Cruise 2026. On arrival at Element Marco (bell hop) greeted us, very polite and proceeded to assist with our luggage. Upon checking in, we were early due to our flight and Dorian graciously found us an ready room without any extra expenses. The staff was very polite and helpful with answers to our questions. Kiera and Cheyenne also were very polite and helpful during our stay. The breakfast was very good, especially the parfait. Overall the hotel exceeded our expectations during our visit and we will return after our Disney Cruise (dembarkation). I would highly recommend this hotel.
