El Dorado Motel & Restaurant

Dirty bathtub and toilet. Very old dilapidated everything, 20+ year old TV. Bed didn’t have a mattress pad, just a sheet over the plastic mattress cover. Bed had a thin blanket and questionable clean bed spread. Asked for my money back and was refused, suggesting I should make and offer on staying the night. NO WAY.. Will need to cancel on my credit card bill. Not worth staying at any price. Italian restaurant next door is run by them as well, not the best food, again very old, this is not a 5-Star place.

We stayed here on our Big 2019 Road Trip. Angie and Isaac were very nice to us during our visit, and very attentive to our needs. The room decor is from 40+ years ago, but the rooms are large and comfortable. The pool's out of service, but the onsite restaurant is good. And the neon sign over the building is a classic. Only minor issues are a comforter that needed replacing (which was done so quickly) and a somewhat short shower head in the bath. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Some reviews say clean? Well after spending 2 minutes trying to get the door unlocked because the door is junk I got to see just how clean it was. The bed spread was covered in dirt so I pulled the sheets back and the sheets was covered in hair. Went to the main office and requested a refund or a different room as I refused to stay in something like that. Was denied and they wouldn't return my money because of the sign at the front desk. They was nice enough to at least change the sheets for me. The carpet looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in months. Dirt everywhere and even found a needle laying in the carpet in the main walkway. The bathroom door had a knob only, no latch so it wouldn't even stay closed. Bathroom was disgusting. The room smelled like urine. The bottom of the beds are b

Jacked the rates up to 500 a week. Wiring in rooms is poor quality. Toilets don’t flush. Will never stay here again or recommend it. Sheets are not changed, rooms smell like mold. It’s a dump. Television, refrigerator, microwave are from the 70’s. Cheap run motel at premium price

I come through El Dorado for work a few times a year and always stay here. The motel has clean rooms with a refrigerator and microwave in each one. Very affordable weekly rates with daily room service provided (this is not offered by all motels in this town by my experience). Owners on site and very friendly. Only a few miles from the El Dorado Lake and within walking distance of movie theater, public parks, Walnut River and tennis courts. Restaurant on property delivers to room and has tasty Italian food. Chef will make food to order that is not on the menu if she has the ingredients on hand. Definitely recommend!
