Edgewick Inn

Very comfortable bed, the room is clean and it is only 30 minutes east of Seattle.

I chose Edgewick Inn because it was very close (within walking distance) to a multiple day event I was attending and seemed quite reasonable in price. I was very happy with my choice. The room was immaculate, if nothing fancy. There was a small, quiet refrigerator, but no coffee machine (you could get coffee in the lobby). They had vending machines for drinks and snacks.The bed was very comfortable and the hotel was very quiet as long as you kept the windows closed (the windows in my room were clearly soundproofing) as with them open you could hear the highway noise. I did not find it necessary to use heat or cooling and I didn't watch TV. There was plenty of hot water for my showers. I didn't try the complimentary breakfast (which I actually completely forgot came with my room - the clerk

the staff was really rude to us (no eye contact, attitude, loud sighing as if to say we were a bother) and with the hateful posters hanging up we couldn’t help but feel it was because of how we looked. it doesn’t feel like a welcoming or safe place for people of color, lgbtq and/or otherwise “minorities” so to speak. our bed was comfy but our friends said theirs was saggy and uncomfy. dog friendly but they tell you to go really far from the hotel to let them potty and we didn’t really want to leave our room because it felt hostile there. there’s also no communal space, just dark rooms in dark hallways. way too pricy for the pretty crappy experience you get. oh ya smells like a wet burger smoking a cigarette also :(

This is a funky, 70s era, motel that is near the Freeway and an adjacent Truck Stop, yet is being renovated/upgraded with new beds, floors, and amenities. Friendly staff! A surprisingly good place to rest for the night.

Room was dirty, faucet was broken, furniture was falling apart, hallways smelt like cigarettes. Overall dirty place. Not worth the price. Stay somewhere else.
