Basecamp Guesthouse

If you are searching for a cozy getaway in North Bend, look no further! The Basecamp Guest House is precisely as described and even more stunning than the photos. The cabin is surrounded by beautiful trees, situated next to a cheerful little waterfall flowing beside the house, and overlooking the incredible Middle Fork River. The place is comfortable, clean, and well-appointed. Jeff is an outstanding host who truly cares about his guests’ experience. My husband and I stayed here in November 2024 during a huge storm. Jeff was super engaging, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed to ride it out safely. We truly had an incredible time at the Basecamp Guesthouse! Thank you, Jeff, for the wonderful stay!

This was by far the best stay I've ever had an Airbnb. The host kept a clean gorgeous place. He was accessible but not overbearing. The views from this site were breathtaking. You could enjoy the soothing sound of the stream as you drifted off to sleep. The studio apartment is surrounded with large glass windows which offers full view of the amazing landscape. You get to enjoy a private fire ring overlooking the river. This spot is so appropriately named as well "Basecamp". We used it for quick access to multiple fantastic hiking trials under 15 minutes away. Two close towns as well for grocery runs or they offer options to enjoy some evening activities.

It was so far one of the best Airbnb stays I have ever had! The host, Jeff, is extremely helpful, friendly and hospitable. The place is simply gorgeous - the guesthouse itself looks pretty tiny from the outside but surprisingly spacious, stylish and well-thought inside (with tips and hints scattered around and even renter's manual printed for one's convenience!) - Jeff does a great job keeping it nice and tidy; views of the river are exciting and truly picturesque. Additionally, my wife and I were lucky enough to witness this river at its crest and even spotted a couple of deer. To make the long story short: this place was worth every penny spent, and I want to come back here again, as well as recommend it to everyone, so great and amazing was my stay here!

This place is stunning. The water sounds from both the river and waterfall right next to the place are SO soothing and amazing. It's a little slice of heaven. But wear slippers... The floor is cold. Otherwise perfect.

Stunning view, cute and extremely clean little house, and good for the metaphorical soul. This place is amazing and I would love to come back. There are so many stars here ✨
