Edelweiss Resort and Restaurant Greer

We stopped by for an early dinner for our anniversary and we're blown away by the amazing food, beers, and service. I dont even really like meeat and the jalapeño wild boar was uh-mazing!!! Husband had the hingarian stew and it was absolutely delicious. The pretzel and cheese were the best of my life. We are excited to come back. Maybe tomorrow.

This local German restaurant caters to carnivores. They also cater to German beer lovers with a tremendous imported beer selection . |Indoor & outdoor seating is available.|As a pretzel lover, the 'giant pretzel' appetizer was a must. It was large & covered the plate. It was soft, yeasty & salty. We devoured it. The beer cheese didn't have much flavor, but I was happy enough with the pretzel. |Companion enjoyed the Hühner Schnitzel; a tenderized deep fried chicken breast. It was served with fried potatoes & a tiny cucumber salad.|As a non meat eater, my only entree choice was one of their two salads. Cucumber, tomato, radish, red onion & croutons were served over spring mix. It had gouda cheese, but a scant amount. The salad was very fresh. They only had one dressing that was

During our stay there for the week of Thanksgiving, we were treated like family. The host who took care of us the entire time, truly did everything possible to make us feel at home. We had prepared our Thanksgiving meal at home and brought it with us. When we told her we planned to just heat it up and eat in our room, she suggested we use the small kitchen and eat in front of a fire. We did just that, and It was amazing. She brought me several of the best beers I've tasted and everything was perfect. The property was beautiful and we are already discussing our next stay there.

Great German food, beer, & wine. My wife & I have been coming here for years. We live fairly local so, we come for their German Resteraunt. They have some Hungarian items on their menu, too. Everything is delicious. The table service is fantastic. The Alpine views inside or outside on their patio are spectacular. Eidelweiss Resteraunt in Greer never disapoints!

Spent three nights. Limited staff at this resort, but they work hard to create a wonderful experience for their guests. Note for owners, clean the microwaves more often. Tub in Room 202 fills with water halfway while taking a shower, drains very, very, very slowly. Curtains in the room would be nice, since one set of blinds won't close. Overall, we enjoyed the peaceful getaway in the beautiful setting of Greer
