Front desk was prompt and the gentleman checking me in was very nice. Older hotel so a bit run down, but it served my purpose on a quick trip to LA

Best friend trip to L.A. for a couple days before she took off on an international trip. We wanted to be near the airport since she had an early flight on her day of departure. The hotel is a 10-15 minute drive to the airport, depending on traffic. It is in a typical working class area of L.A. Only a few food options within walking distance but there is a liquor store right across the street if you feel the need to get your drink on.||||Check-in started out a bit sketchy when the manager/owner told us his computer was down. No worries, that happens. We filled out the registration card, explained that the room had been pre-paid online, and began looking for the e-mail showing the receipt. During this exchange he all but accused us of lying and told us that he had been in the hotel business

The guest services and accommodations provided were unsatisfactory, and the room assigned was inadequate. As an individual with disabilities, my request for appropriate accommodations was unfortunately declined. Furthermore, we experienced challenges in effective communication with the receptionist. Overall, the experience was subpar, and we advise against utilizing this establishment.

First off the room had an awful odor. The best way to describe it is mold/mildew, concentrated kitchen cleaner and curry. I’m sure they’re aware because they had a wall flower plugged in when we arrived that just added a flower fragrance to the smells listed above. The rest of the room wasn’t too bad other than that with a mini-fridge, TV with cable and A/C. The real problem is the neighborhood… It’s rougher than a stucco bathtub here. Sirens, screaming, dogs barking, fighting, human feces on the sidewalk, homelessness on all the corners, tires screeching and honking all night long. Had the police there at 4 am to breakup a domestic violence ordeal next door. The walls are paper thin to the point I can hear the fire alarm chip 3 rooms down and on a different floor. Paid for hot tub room...200...didn't come with tv remote..can't smoke inside room. Hot tub spills over and doesnt drain when spilling...big room has everything u want and need.
