Econo Lodge Wooster

I am not a picky person but this was the worst hotel room I have ever stayed at. I was worried about my $60 fee for incidentals that I even took pictures of the room just in case they tried to blame me for the condition of the room. I did let one staff member know my concerns of this. It was a clean room so I am happy about that. But the bathroom door looked like someone punched a hole in it in two different spots. There was a dent in the fridge like someone kicked it in. The sink was completely cracked in half. Cigarette burns all down the bathtub and toilet seat. The toilet seat is so old that the finish is off of it and discolored black. Hooks in bathroom ripped off door. Sink drain stopper, gone. I can live with all that but the worst part was the cockroaches that came out above the te

I recently stayed just for an over night get away, and everything was perfect. My room was clean and ready. Exactly the room I wanted. The people are amazing, Melissa who does the front desk is so friendly and helpful. I couldn't get the TV to work and she came to my room personally and fixed it in a second. I forgot to push a button. She was perfect and cheerful and didn't mind helping at all. She introduced me to the new owner who is very nice and friendly. He also made sure everything was good. And Robbie from house keeping did amazing job on my room which was clean, well stocked with towels and the bed was so comfortable I had no problems resting at all. I will be using the Econologe the next time I need a break, and just want to relax.

went here for a quick stay and all the towels in the bathroom were stained and dirty. one bed had brown stains and the other had a cockroach at the end of where the bed was tucked in (the bed i was laying on) i’m pretty sure there is bed bugs and i’m surprised this place is still even opened. floors were dirty, television and lights didn’t work half the time, holes in the walls, and fridge didn’t work. Also staff & customers eould blare loud music for hours and you can feel the room shaking from the floor up. I KNOW ITS CHEAP BUT DONT GO HERE, you may bring some of those bugs home.

This is a warning- Do NOT stay here! Facilities are extremely dated. Lose doorknobs..some of which don’t even lock. Yellow tub and toilet. It felt like it took centuries for the toilet to flush. There are full-time residents here. Overall vibe of the place is very creepy..definitely not kid friendly. There is false advertising of a continental breakfast…only coffee and orange juice. When my daughter got a cup of the juice, it was filled with flies. Needless to say, we went to the McDonalds across the road. The place also needs to call an exterminator..pretty sure I heard mice scratching around in the walls during the night. Even thought the location is good, you couldn’t pay me to stay here again.

Although the front desk attendant was pleasant, there were a number of things about the motel that made for an uncomfortable stay. 1. It is obvious that the motel is used by a good many people as a permanent residence. There are charcoal grills outside of the rooms. 2. The ice/vending area was filled with clutter like cleaning tools, and toys so that even if we did want to use either of the machines - which we did not! - they were inaccessible. 3. There was no breakfast served.
