Econo Lodge Woodbridge

Not great, not bad. It gets the job done if you're just looking for a basic clean room to sleep. The location was convenient and in a pretty quiet residential area, close to plenty of restaurants and easily drivable to several larger areas. No frills. There's a room labeled "breakfast room" with hours listed, but there's no breakfast served. There was coffee and juice though. The TV didn't work properly, and I couldn't get a hold of anyone at the front desk by phone to ask about it, but it wasn't a huge deal. There's no elevator, so it's a bit of a pain if you're traveling with luggage and get a room on the second floor. It's clean and has a bed and bathroom, so like I said, it gets the job done.

Hector Patel, Front Desk Agent is always very nice, courteous, extremely professional, and friendly upon my arrivals. Despite, me typically arriving after 01:00 AM, he always provides me with a genuine smile and a very warm and welcoming demeanor- And not a, "Why are you here?" disposition. Upon my arrivals, he always get me quickly processed and checked-in and provides me with flavored sparkling water and snacks as a Choice Diamond Member. He is always happy to help and treat me as a valued customer and most of all as a human being. During my previous visit, someone mixed up the room television remotes which are clearly labeled on the back. Hector quickly grabbed his master key and quickly rectified the issue. Great rooms for the price in this area. Other services are fine. But our stay started with a disaster. When we arrived for our first night, we discovered that our reservation had been canceled, apparently because we didn’t pay soon enough, even though the website already had my credit card details. There was zero information in the confirmation email about how or when to pay, or that the booking would be canceled without warning. There is nothing worse than arriving after a long trip and being told you have no room because a greedy company decided to sell it to someone else. It’s shocking, irresponsible, and completely unacceptable. This kind of behavior destroys trust and damages the company’s image. We eventually found another hotel farther away for the first night, but we lost money,

A budget hotel, well appointment. I am staying to be near friends for a funeral this weekend. |It seems that the place was recently redone, carpets and rooms look newer. Clean, spacious rooms with all that is needed: flat TV, microwave, fridge, iron, toiletries, hair dryer. A desk and a nice ERGO chair. Well lit with recessed lights all around the room, plenty of upgraded wall outlets to charge your devices.|Nice water pressure in the shower.|Missing no safety handles in the bathroom, no safety box. ||It has a Breakfast Room next to the lobby that serves juice and coffee complimentary in the morning.|Four vending machines with water, sodas, snacks, and frozen foods(ice cream too). I travel to this Hotel quite frequently, so much that now they recognize me by name, as I work on a regional team for a popular retailer, I often conduct web meetings and zoom training sessions from my room, and the rooms are always very comfortable, clean, and quiet. I often am relieved when I know I will be traveling to the area, as I know I will have amazing accommodations from the Econo Lodge in Woodbridge, many thanks as always - Nicholas Gillespie
