Econo Lodge

This 2 night stay was awful! Nobody should waste their money staying here. There was no chairs in the room and pool was closed the lady at the counter didn't want to be there at all much less help with any info that we asked for. No hot breakfast and for the price I paid it wasn't worth it!

The first thing I noticed when I walked in the lobby was the stench. As I was walking down the hallway to walk up the stairs to the room I noticed how the carpet was terribly stained. Once I got in the room, there was a chair in the corner of the room. The vinyl was completely ripped off the seat of the chair. It should have been out with the trash. The sink in the bathroom had a lot of chipped paint on the shelf. Last, but not least, where the smoke detector was supposed to be..... were just wires hanging out. That is such a safety hazard! I do not place blame on the employees that were working there. They were polite and helpful. It is the responsibility of Econo Lodge to make the repairs where needed.

If I could give 0 stars I WOULD! It's disgusting they have a very bad roach infestation! They were crawling everywhere! I was so disgusted I got absolutely no sleep. The only reason I did not request a refund is because it was really late when we got in. We just needed somewhere to sleep for a few hours.

The hallway upstairs was needed vacuuming when I arrived Sunday, and when I left Tuesday am, had still not been vacuumed. The towels and sheets were clean, but dingy and stained. I'm pretty sure the rug towel had not been washed tho. The bathroom was clean enough to not be gross, but the bedroom sported fingerprints on the mirror, dust on the lamps, the bedside table had not been wiped off, the remote was on the floor under the bed, there was sticky residue on the door lock and handles, and the floor needed sweeping in the corners. When I complained to the housekeeper about the beeping "dead battery" from 2 adjacent rooms' fire alarms, she kindly pulled the batteries. I was meeting up with some family and they booked the room based on a previous experience needful to say they was not pleased at how run down and let go the room/building had become . 2nd floor room ...stairs and luggage a little bit of a struggle. Few critters crawling on everything. Cleanliness in general could have been better. Front desk staff and Housekeeping staff were very polite.
