The bathroom door would not shut. Hall window open, no screen, No coffee available downstairs until after 7. Needed to get to charlevoix to catch ferry. Dirty floors, lots of garbage behind dresser Desk attendant was polite and let us quickly see location of room, as on 2nd floor and i wanted near exit. The owner is wonderful lady very understanding kind respectful and flexible when booking. I've stayed for weeks or weekend and hospitality has been great! My rooms have been clean theres breakfast in the morning its no Dennys but it will do! Im close to fast food restaurants and stores the hotel has a pool and washer and dryer even vending machine 🙃 I love it and thats why I will always be returning here.

Beware of bedbugs!!! I stayed here with my girlfriend on 10/17/2025 and we found an earwig in our room within minutes of entering. Having not found any more after checking under the covers and inside the pillowcases, we decided to stay. I wish we would've inspected the room more thoroughly because we were clearly bitten by bedbugs throughout the night. By 10/23/2025, we had several dark red welts that came with the worst itch I've ever experienced. My girlfriend had to take time off work and see a doctor because her reaction was so bad. Management refused a refund, stating it was unusual we didn't report the bites at checkout and that they haven't had any issues with bedbugs before. We chose this hotel because we have stayed here before and the location was convenient. However, we did not get fresh coffee every day, nor room service. That was OK because I brought instant coffee and a heating coil.

I arrived with a group at 7pm, we had 5 rooms reserved. A man and woman were outside smoking at a picnic table. The man came in, told me he needed to go check if our room was cleaned at 7pm! He returned and gave me a key. The bed was made but the room was not clean.|Mens whiskers in the sink like a recent beard trim. The floor was extremely dirty. I went to take a shower and there was only freezing cold water. My husband went to the front desk and was told 'cold is hot, and hot is cold'. The TV had no signal and would not work. No continental breakfast as on their website. We saw containers of cereal and boxes of pastries piled behind the desk. Not that we would eat anything from this filthy establishment anyways.
