Econo Lodge & Suites Southern Pines - Pinehurst

We love the location, so close to the family we are visiting, and convenient to shopping and restaurants as well. The motel owners are very nice and friendly, and they manage a very tight ship here. :-)) The entire motel premises are kept extra clean, and we know that our room is always very clean and that everything works as it should !!! The wife and husband and family team accommodate us with our little senior dog who is both blind and deaf. We always keep her with us at all times !! My husband and I stay often, and we always enjoy this delightful Choice Hotel location !! Thank you always !! :-)

I stayed at a conveniently located motel with plenty of parking, and check-in was quick and easy. The general manager was extremely polite and welcoming, which set a great tone for my stay. The room was spotless, with new laminate floors and plenty of space to stretch or do yoga. The bathroom and linens were very clean, and I really liked the décor. The motel offered a free continental breakfast, though it didn’t have any dairy alternatives and most of the options were pretty carb-heavy. I wasn't able to eat anything. The owner was kind enough to offer me a tangerine, which I appreciated. There was also an ice maker, but the ice melted quickly. Great location. Very quiet. Pleasantly surprised to see updates in the room. Would love to see a different color paint in the walls but overall very comfy. Bed was clean and comfortable. Easy check -in. Great front desk service. Good room for price. Would recommend

Location: located not very far from the wedding that we were attending. It's close to restaurants and shopping areas. Area is pretty quiet. Rooms: we got a standard 2-bed room. Rooms are clean. 2 soaps provided. Iron also available if needed. Bath towels were a little small but did the job. Air conditioning worked good without issues. Bed sheets were clean as well. Service: the owners were friendly as well as the housekeepers. Breakfast was included with a good selection of bagels, cereals, make-your-own waffles and some pastries. Check out time is at 11AM; they called me 30 minutes before as a reminder. I left my water bottle and when I called they kept it for me which was nice. Good value for your money.

Let me be clear: this is not a 4-star hotel (far from it) but, rather, a 'good' 2-star hotel/motel.|The Econo Lodge & Suites Southern Pines served its purpose - a base for 3 nights whilst attending the US Open practice days at Pinehurst last June. I ended up here only because my first choice hotels (Hilton Garden Inn and Hampton Inn Southern Pines) were already fully booked when making the reservation 7 months ahead of the tournament. It was a straightforward 10-15 minute drive to the shuttle bus parking lot off Sand Pit Road.||Parking was free and plentiful.
