Econo Lodge Santee

First off do not stay at this hotel!!! The rooms were absolutely filthy. The trip was last minute and didn’t have money to book another hotel as I booked it on the app. Upon arrival there were stains on the back baseboard of the bed and the dresser in between the bed was absolutely disgusting. The microwave was clean in the bed was clean and nice and neat. I made sure to check the fridge could use some work upon the dressers and the remote to the TV had built up, gunk the only things that were really clean like I have stated before were the bathroom area except for the toilet in the shower shower was dusty water kept getting hotter and hotter could barely even shower because it was burning. The toilet seat was peeling away, so I had to put toilet paper or squat not to touch it do not stay

The hotel isn't bad for the money. The guests who were staying there were a different story. Work crews families with small children banging on the walls and Mothers screaming at them early in the morning

The receptionist over the phone was helpful and provided good service. However, the information given during check-in was different — I was told the service dog would be free of charge, but at check-in, I was charged around $27.The room was spacious and included a refrigerator, microwave, and a regular TV. Free parking and bathroom amenities were available, and there was coffee provided.However, the room smelled like smoke, and the floor was not clean. Also, the app listed that breakfast was included, but no breakfast was served.

First off DO NOT STAY HERE ! The desk clerk took my wallet and I called and asked for two days about my wallet . Then waited till I got back in fl and I called again that they had it ! And then called me and called me all types of stuff because I hung up when he started being disrespectful and he called back. And never asked what my address was to send it or anything. Guess u get what u paid for . But Priceline had this at at a 3 star hotel. Knowing it’s -3 stars!

Everything in my eyes was fine had no problems at all. Gave a 4 star because of no breakfast but overall very decent room to stay for a good night rest. Will be returning 😊
