Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Shelbyville

This is the best hotel in Shelbyville. Hands down, not a fancy breakfast, but you eat. The most important thing is the amazing staff, super clean rooms, peace and quiet. It is a great place to stay. The Steak restaurant is right next door, Sonic right across the street, and Walmart just down the road, the best access to Shelbyville. I also saw they have electric car charging in the parking area, that is pretty cool.

I had a real pleasant stay at hotel. Room are so clean, bathroom is clean. And lousy smell so good and the stuff is super friendly. For the price, it's was great value ans I'll stay again if I'm in town

The place seemed clean, which is what I really care about. But as Choice hotels are concerned, it was definitely on the low end of quality. Very little in the way of breakfast (not even the usual waffles that I survive on during business trips), holes in the sheets, there was a roach in the bathroom, the AC unit gave off a faint smell of what could have been human urine, the peephole in the door was painted over, and the pillows were extremely uncomfortable. I appreciated the price being fairly low, but generally with Choice you can count on a certain standard of quality even at the cheaper locations, and this really wasn't it.

Very nice front desk, staff, room had some issues, continental breakfast pretty sparse. Check in went smoothly, there is no elevator so rooms on the second floor. You have to climb the stairs with your luggage. The air conditioning worked extremely well. I had to turn it down because the room was so cold when I checked in. The room was clean and comfortable. It is clear they are remodeling things in the rooms and the decor was quite unusual. When I pulled back, the bed covers in there were stains on the bedsheet, but I believe they were old and the sheet was basically clean. I did sleep on the other side of the bed though. The smoke alarm was broken and sitting on a shelf. Some of the towels were bright white some were more dingy. Location was great, but there are plenty of hotels nearby.

Family member stayed here due to the winter ice storm this weekend so be closer to work and got awoken by something biting them at 4 this morning. Bed bug in pillow 8 bites and counting so far . The clerk was very nice but said they need to speak to manager at 11 AM or after so being as how it's super dangerous outside they r going to have to risk them self to get away from there . No way going have them try to stay out and they can't sleep and can't be safe and calm . It too much to worry with yes much rather them try to ease down the road but someone please take care of this . I mean the night prior they had mint sprayed around them at work thank God boss likes mint oil or they'd been eaten alive the night prior. With any luck they get a least half refund for the stay also heads up the
