Best Western Shelbyville Inn and Suites Celebration Inn

I accidentally filled out the survey thinking of another hotel so I wanted to leave this review here to correct that mistake - and share my experience. I liked this place (especially in comparison to a lot of other places we stayed on our little Tennessee road trip). Their breakfast was cute and I liked the waffle topping options. Tasted pretty good too - and I’m super picky so that’s saying something. It was good for the price. I wish I was able to check out the other amenities like the pool but we were exhausted. The beds were comfortable and the room clean which is really all you need for a night. Very disappointed with this Best Western location and I guess with a Health Division of Environment Health rating of 90%, I shouldn't be surprised. The information says Best Western Shelbyville Inn and Suites but there's nothing I saw that looks like a Suite here. The front lobby gives a great first impression--clean, modern, and updated--but unfortunately, that didn't carry over to the rooms. While the room was generally clean, there was a strong air freshener scent that seemed to be masking another odor.||Customer service was disappointing. After checking in, I asked about a luggage cart and was vaguely directed to the left. I pushed the cart right past the front desk without a word from the staff. I really enjoyed the staff. They are considerate and they listen. The breakfast is great...very delicious. The location is close to downtown, Walmart, several fast food places, and yet a quiet location. I believe that the housekeeping could be better. It's not very bad, but can definitely be improved.

Bathrooms are tiny and have no room to shut the door. The bankets, towels, and sheets always stink even the clean ones the give you. Internet sucks and always disconnects while using it throughout the day plus makes you reconnect every day and breakfast is mid at best
