Very high reviews except for the overall appearance. 5 star review for the price.There was just too much tacking us in the room and outside. Obviously this was due to recent construction but The hallways were could have been vacuumed. I would stay there again only because of the price

Car broke down on highway in snow storm. The hotel had vacancy, but the floor of the room was not cleaned in some time. Dead bugs, a penny left on the floor and you had to wipe your feet off to not bring in the dirt to the bed. Hotel had no complimentary items like toothbrush to offer. Bathroom floor had a shiny spot from a previous spill.

When we first walked in, the first thing that we noticed was the extremely strong odor of fabuloso cleaner. Now don't get me wrong, a clean hotel is nice, yes, but when it's so overwhelming of a smell it makes you gag, there is an issue. The lady at the front desk wasn’t very friendly. When she checked my ID, she took it in her hands and bent it, as if it was fake. The door handle only opens if you lift up on the handle. To fully shut the door, you have to use all your weight to close it from inside. You have to pull it hard from outside. The bed sits only a few feet off the floor. The beds at Motel 6 sit higher. The pillows were flat yet had lumps in them. The bed leaned to one side like it had been laid in on one side only. The sheets had stains on them. The ceiling in the shower had ext

The Motel was definitely cheap for the stay. However luckily I was only in the motel for a few hours at night for the two night stay. It was definitely not an appealing place. The pictures will show more than my words. I will say the person at the front desk was polite, and helpful, but that’s where the good ended. The motel smelled like cigarette smoke, even in my non smoking room, which left me smelling like cigarettes. The hallways were dirty as well. My first room they assigned was not clean at all, the second room was better but not great either, still dirty but cleaner than the last. St that point I needed to just get to the wedding I was attending as a groomsmen, and I didn’t want to play room roulette any more. Again the pictures of the room will show the state of the room. I booked this hotel because we were in town for the races at the Iowa Speedway and it was very close and the nightly rate was not outrageous. I scored the recommendation of the hotel a 5 for 2 reasons. The first reason was the bathroom, the vent in there looked dirty and the bottom of the door was kinda torn up. The second reason and really more important reason was that the outside security scanner wasn't working. Anyone could walk in without having to scan a room card. Overall our 1 night stay was ok, the room was clean (except for the bathroom vent) and the rest of the hotel looked to be clean. The gal that checked us in on 8/2/25 was helpful and pleasant. I'll probably still recommend this hotel only because it's so close to the speedway, but will always mention the lack of secu
