Econo Lodge Frackville

Honestly the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. 1. When we arrived, we were given a room key. Immediately, it didn’t work. We returned to the office and we were given a key to a different room, which then also didn’t work. The office attendant gave us a new key to the first room provided, and once again it didn’t work. The attendant opened the door and told us we WOULD NOT have access to a working key during our stay. Thank God it was only one night. *We specifically booked a SMOKING ROOM, as advertised on the listing. We were given a room with smoke detectors. 2. Once in our room, it was brutally frigid. No option for climate control other than an air conditioner. We were not in an end unit. 3. Our comforter had cigarette burn holes in it, so at least someone got to have a cigarett

Positive: Nothing Negative: The room was filthy with brown drips down the wall. The comforter had burn holes. The bathroom was not cleaned and there was a bucket in the room to catch water from leaking roof. I tried to request a refund but the office was locked.

Flooring between bed and dresser for tv was sunken in and if you were barefoot you might cut your foot as flooring was sticking up. Blanket on bed next to window had stains and cigarette holes. Felt bottom sheet felt like there was dead skin all over. Did they change sheets? Or just pull them tight and made bed? Pulled C Pap in and during night shut off 3 times lost power. Corners on bathroom looked like never have been cleaned. Dirt build up. Husband ready to shower water would not turn on. I went to desk and asked the lady what to do. She said to pull on handle as hard as I could. The alcohol smell from her was bad. So back to room feeling oh boy what have we done? Don’t feel safe now. So I pulled on handle eventually it started. This is a very old hotel. The last 2 times i stayed here i was pleased to see progress being made to raise modernize the furniture and decor and even the bathrooms. And i found both rooms i stayed in to be much cleaner as compared to other years. The people who work her both management and staff have been helpful and pleasant. After the stay before this, i felt encouraged to return and plan to do so again in the future should my travels take me through Frackville.

Everything was in terrible condition. The drains in the bathroom sink and tub were clogged. The heater worked on a random basis and the room was very cold. There were burn holes in both the very thin bed cover and the sheets. There was no blanket anywhere on the bed or in the room. There wasn't even an empty box in the Kleenex dispenser in the bathroom.
