Econo Lodge Duluth near Miller Hill Mall

If I could give zero stars I would. The rooms are very dirty. Pubes, hair, old guests belongings all over, and stains on the bed, which tells me they do not clean the rooms. Pool smelt funny and pool room in general was grimey. Front desk lady is nice… the manager, not so much. Made my partner and I feel very uncomfortable. Would not recommend. Much better hotels for the same price all over town that you won’t catch something from.

In the pictures it looks like it has been updated. But it's only half the room. My first night I arrived late got to my room settled in for the night and always fine The front desk person RJ was pleasant and understanding with a lot of issues I was having with my travel and my card. He helped me greatly. The next morning when I woke up I realized the chair in the room had crusty spots on it as if it was overlooked for quite a few days. Not just where literal crusty bits. The sink area was broken down basically the hallway to my room had obvious water damage and it looked like it was continuing with towels on the floor but no fan on it. The next day when I came back after receiving a phone call about a mix-up with my reservation that was already resolved I asked to switch rooms because the

Really - these are most important so in terms of a review, I guess the place was "fine."||Things that are less important include:||Refrigerator Available in Room - had stinky leftovers from the previous guest so when I opened it, the whole room stank for a while. ||Walls - paper thin. Stayed overnight and was helped by Hannah at the desk. She was super friendly and very helpful. We weren’t expecting to stay there and turned what was a hectic evening into a pleasant experience. She was just as pleasant in the morning when I went down to the lobby to have coffee, not wanting to disturb my girlfriend while she slept. It’s refreshing when the best part of a stay is the staff at the hotel. The staff in the morning were just as friendly.

They definitely have an amazing staff, very clean environment. They are right on top of everything, they checked on me every day to make sure I didn’t need anything or if I did they were right there to provide it. They are always at the front desk, very very friendly And I would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody and that’s reasonable priced. Also, they make you feel at home.
