Echo Bay Resort

I've stayed here for a week at a time. Every year for at least 5 maybe 6 years and it's great every time! I've tried other places but this is the one I keep coming back to, the owners are great people and always a great time at the lake , clean cabins , house to clean fish is also always clean and the whole place is very well maintained. Plenty of docks and a nice bay, beautiful scenery right from the cabin , watch Blue Herons and Geese and ducks right from the deck, I even saw an otter this last time there also Loons singing at nightfall. Never any regrets from going here. Playground for kids is nice and there is paddle boats and also water bikes , fun for all ages! Oh and the fishing is awesome always too! This place has it all !

Our family stayed here for a week. Cabin was clean and very nice. Cabin nestled in the trees with a very nice view of the lake. Newer boats that work very well. Hydro bikes for the children. Owners are very friendly and hospitable. A great destination for a family vacation. Would definitely like to go back for another week.

We recently stayed here as a family, and after staying at another resort in Chetek, we enjoyed this one immensely. First off, it was pet friendly, and we were able to feel safe leaving our lab if we needed to run a quick errand. The owners were super friendly, although you don't see them much. The caretaker (Johnny) was very nice, and gave great advice. Even better, the families that were at the resort were also great and super friendly- many of them had been coming for multiple years. The cabins were pretty well equipped, except for a cookie sheet in ours I had everything I needed. We were in a smaller cabin and would upgrade to a bigger one on our next trip as it was pretty tight, but the view was worth it!||We also rented a pontoon boat, and while we didn't have the latest and greatest

We stayed at Echo Bay 9/25 thru 9/27 in Cabin # 11. What a wonderful, clean, accommodating resort! The "cabin" was well equipped and VERY clean. It had the room to give everyone their own space, without the feeling of being on top of each other. The deck was the perfect place to start the day while enjoying your morning coffee or maybe even a glass of wine at sunset. They had a pedal boat for our use, and also included a row boat. We rented a very nice pontoon and enjoyed the afternoon cruising the lakes and even stopped to do some fishing!! Only a mile and a half from the town of Chetek, easy to get groceries, bait, or shopping, or a bite to eat! The owners are very hospitable, and their maintenance man was helpful. We plan on returning next year!
