Eastern Inn & Suites

We recently stayed four nights at the Eastern Inn. It was our second visit at this property. It is a great "value" hotel if you are planning a short visit to North Conway. It is conveniently located just north of the village. It is within walking distance to the village. This is an older hotel, but it is clean and well maintained. It features a small, cozy check-in lobby with a gas fireplace, couch, and chairs. Coffee and other hot beverages are provided complimentary in the lobby 24/7. There is also very nice heated pool. However the hot tub was out of service. It seemed as it had been for quite sometime. It should not be listed as an amenity for this hotel. We rented one of the suite rooms. We stayed there for Super Bowl weekend just to get away. Talking to the manager it seems like it’s about to go through some major changes. I hope it holds onto its charm and personal experience. Time will tell.

A big “Thank you” to Anna at the evening front desk. She was super friendly and helpful! We needed to do some laundry and she gave us instructions & change. She also showed me the free coffee available in the front lobby, and we had a nice conversation. Made us feel very comfortable. Our room was very nice and cozy and the location was perfect for going downtown to the shops or riding the train. Felt very safe walking around the area.

What the actually freaking hell. This hotel is a piece of garbage!!!!!!!!!! There was hair on the shower walls, the whole hotel smelt like cat pee, our bed was literally broken, the carpets look like they haven’t been cleaned in a decade. I literally didn’t take a shower our whole stay because I was so insanely grossed out🤮🤢 the couches in the hotel room were stained. I had to put a towel over it before I sat because what the hell dude. The bathroom was so small. The door didn’t close all the way. So anyone could see you taking a shower, or using the restroom. The door didn’t have a actually lock it was like a swinging barn door. The room was extremely humid. Everytime I drove past this hotel I got ACTUAL shivers. I’m not being dramatic at all.
