Eagle Ridge Lodge

Located on a huge, quiet property, the lodge is eccentric but clean with amazing architecture and perfect for our large group. River fishing and fire pit are available. Well-equipped kitchen. Kent does live on the property near to the lodge but was very accommodating and responsive, and afforded us appropriate privacy. We recommend making contact directly with Kent prior to arrival to get the lay of the land.

We stayed for a wedding this last weekend Aug 7-Aug 9. The lodge was beautiful inside and out!! Sleeping accommodations, for our large family, was beyond perfect. The little "dens" in the rooms upstairs were cute. Kent, you clearly have spent a lot of time on the lodge and it shows!!

Eagle Ridge Lodge was a gorgeous and accommodating space for a large group. The location was close to the TC. Although I had a great time, I wouldn’t consider coming back due to various reasons listed below: 1) Website lists that you’ll have entire place to yourself/party of folks, but we found out the owner stayed in the lodge the entire weekend we stayed there. One evening around 2am, owner came through hallway of main floor and surprised us by asking for a midnight snack. NO PRIVACY WHATSOEVER! 2) Along with privacy, we were never told the owner would come around and take photos. No photography release was provided to us or signed by us. My children were outside in their swimming suits and I noticed the owner was taking photos. That is a no-no! 3) The master bedroom I stayed in was a

Master bedroom did not have a bed, was told to use air bed which was not provided. Had a random tanning bed that was taped shut in it. Really should sleep 17 only with 5 bedrooms and 5 baths (not the listed 6 beds, 6 baths). Hot tub was out of order and not fixed until the night before our last night. At 9:30pm a lady let herself in through the back door from the master bedroom and snuck her head out into the hall to let us know she was fixing the hot tub, she should have rang the front door. It definitely was an invasion of privacy. The theater room is only available in the winter time, which doesn't state so in the description. Upstairs balcony that accessed the bird watch area was nailed shut. Did not feel we were able to enjoy it the way it is intended since all things were nailed

At first it looked great. Our group was really excited about it but as the weekend went on there were so many things that were upsetting. 1. AC only worked in certain areas -main floor, living area on second floor. The weekend we were there it was super HOT, so as night rolled around, it was unbearable. We had multiple fans trying to circulate the rooms. Was told not to open windows or he'd turn off the AC. 2. There was a bathroom that was locked the whole weekend. Not sure why? 3. We didn't know the owner was going to be around and that he was sleeping there. 4. The owner also took pictures without our permission. He would drive around with his phone taking photos or videos of what we were doing. -No privacy. Or he would just a take a picture of us with no warning... 5. We definitely d
