Camperville

We were considering purchasing a camper and paying for a seasonal site this last summer. I called the campground many times no answer or return call, no email address. Finally spoke to the owner on a Sun afternoon. The website had activities and contract info outdated by 2 years! When I said we were from Colorado her voice raised and she said they have no full timers, only people from MN or WI who come on the weekend. When I said that's discriminatory, especially when you pay for seasonal occupancy May to Sept, not just for their designated days, she really lost it! I had to end the call and tell the seller no way. Word is out now, and people are leaving. Truly unbelievable.

Date of Visit: 28 June 2025 - Visited a family member's camper/cabin at this campground for an afternoon. Seemed like a nice, quiet place but definitely needs some TLC - the restroom smelled so incredibly moldy/mildewy.

My aunt had let me visit her site one summer several years ago. It was quite honestly not only one of my favorite camping experiences, but probably one of my favorite experiences of my life so far. I stayed around the 4th of July. They had a special event going on, fireworks and music. Pretty fun. From what i remember they had this fun little building with billiards and arcade machines and just a whole bunch of stuff. Swimming pool and a spot on the lake to swim. There's so much to do! I'm not one to have a sharp memory, but i can tell you i remember just about everything about this place. Hopefully I've helped determine your vacation plans this summer!

Camperville - where do I begin? Camperville is one of the last classic camp sites around! It is the highlight of summer nights and weekends. Their lots sizes for campers are mich larger than their competitors and it's a full service experience - the perfect mid-point from traditional camping and staying in a hotel. They are just over an hour straight north of the cities which makes a quick getaway possible whenever you see fit. Camperville is situated on a private lake with exceptional fishing and a beach area, outdoor pool, arcade and gaming area and small general store. You are able to rent annually, or you can rent a weekend spot as well. There is a boat landing on the lake. If you're looking to do much more than fish or swim, this won't be your favorite lake.
