Dunes Motel

Loved this place!! Room had everything we needed, plenty of space for suitcases, travel bags, etc. has a coffee maker, microwave and small fridge. Super clean!! Bed was comfortable. If you’re like us and prefer small, family owned places, this is definitely for you! Literally a stones throw to town and the expansive beach. The owner Kari, is just sweet as can be! We actually extended our stay and are already looking forward to returning.

My husband and I had planned a camping trip and after one night of camping and not sleeping, we decided to get a motel for the rest of our trip. We got this place for one night and of course after camping, we were delighted with it. We didn't find anything in disrepair in the room. It had a TV and fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The bed was ok, but we removed their comforter and used ours because theirs looked a bit shabby/old. It was clean in my opinion. This place may not be for everyone. We were on a budget and sort of roughing it so it didn't bother us.

This incredibly cute town is 5x cuter because of this motel! Theres a clean, modern feeling layered over that classic motel vibe that you desire when road tripping. I can even see the Great Lake from our bedroom window! What a gorgeous treat! Sleep here and be happy for the first time in forever ✨

Nice, clean, and comfortable. Has a Roku TV and free wifi. Outdated, sure, but only an issue for the most high maintenance of guests.
