There was big bugs and we had no idea where they cane from considering we had been out all day. When we went to go tell them about it they said they couldnt move us to another room because they were booked but also they couldnt refund us even partially because we booked through a third party. Basically said we have to deal with it and there was nothing they could do. My skin crawls knowing we have to sleep here one more night without knowing if there are anymore bugs. Also it said it was a beach view but there definitely is not one. Do not believe the pictures, the Dunes are possibly the worst place you can stay in. In addition the roof is also leaking whenever a storm came by and the AC also leaks onto the balcony. For the price we paid, it was not worth it.
Booked a two queen bedroom "suite" to only end up with a 1 bed tiny room that resembled a motel. You do have access to the pools and other amenities of the other buildings, but it was definitely false advertising. We went to check in at 5pm but the registration building requires you to park in the little drive area but the line went out onto the street. We ended up coming back around 9pm just to check in only to spend another hour trying to find parking. For the $700 we paid for two nights, we could have definitely went somewhere better.
Was told that it was the big breakers hotel and I end up with a motel i dont get breakfast cause I booked through a third party and the room is incredibly small
The Dune's is horendous . The pictures are beautiful of the room and they make it sound nice resort like. Only plus is it's located in a good location. Elevator smells like someone peed in it. Room was horrible. Furniture was falling apart, air conditioning was on 60 and didn't cool the room down. The first half of the room never got cool at all. Housekeeping came in and just gave us fresh towels and emptied the garbage cans. They never vacuumed, cleaned the bathroom or made the bed. For the amount of money we paid I would have expected a much nicer place. I would never stay here again.
Yes...this is not the property that is advertised. It looks like a motel. The bathtub would not drain water even after calling and having them send 2 repairmen to fix the problem. The problem got worse and barely drained at all. The furniture was old and peeling/shredding, air conditioning unit was coming apart. Went across the street and requested another room/upgrade and was told they didn't have any more rooms available except in the Dunes. They gave me a key to go check another room to see if it was better and it was the same. We left/checked out the next day and found another hotel with better conditions. Don't be fooled by the glamorous photos. Those photos are not of the rooms in the Breakers Dunes.
