Drifter Motel

Narrow parking spots. It's an old motel, so you get what you pay for. Comfortable bed. Room could have been cleaner. Dog friendly but no area for them to use the restroom.

This place is DISGUSTING. Staff is just as disgusting with their attitude. Rooms are dirty and the place is noisy as it's infront of the highway. |They house people here too. |Don't know how this place is in business and how it hasn't been inspected.

The rooms may be a little dated, but for the price, that's fine. They were clean, well maintained, the AC was cold, and the bed slept well after a long day. Most importantly, the couple that runs the place were very hospitable and kind. Definitely stay here if you need to get off the road and not break the bank. AVOID THE MOTEL 6 UP THE ROAD AT ALL COST!!!

The A/C broke in the middle of the night and destroyed my laptop and synthesizer. Water all over my luggage. Was refused new sheets and towels. There's better places that cost the same just down the road, just avoid the LuLu. I didn't even want to try to get repairs done by the owners, from seeing how they treated me and other potential guests, to the reviews on Google and Trip Advisor. If I had said their appliance broke my electronics, they'd just start screaming and demand I fix their shitty air conditioner. Avoid this headache at all costs. I recommend the Murray. 100%. The greatest hotel I've ever stayed at in New Mexico. Honestly such a treat, the management is nice and understanding and they treated me with such politeness. It was so nice.
