Dragonfly Cottage at Desert Willow

There aren't enough superlatives to adequately describe this place. We booked the cottage intending to celebrate our anniversary. Instead, it was a place to start healing from the loss of our daughter as well as celebrate our anniversary.. The peacefulness of the cottage was so pleasant that we never left during our stay. We enjoyed the variety of birds. And the cool temperatures were a nice break from the hot weather in Midland. We booked the cottage again as soon as we got home.

I almost don't want to share this special gem, but if it can bring joy to others that's what it's about. Nestled away in Jemez Springs in a beautiful area.You just can't explain the beauty here, the cottage is quaint and homey with all the essentials you need. The deck that hangs over the small stream in the back is a great spot to take a load off. The grill has always been supplied with propane and theres nothing like grilling on the patio. Beware if you dont plan on eating out bring all your food items as the general store has small pickins and is above average price. There are no liquor stores around so pack in your drinks. If you're in a bind Los Ojos does sell beer in a 6 pack. This has become one of our favorite spots. Chevk out all the historical spots and hot springs. Can't wait to

Wonderful place to spend a weekend in the Jemez. Clean, relaxing, quiet, and private. Will definitely be back!

Gorgeous scenery, well taken care of, feels like a time share so clean!! Didn't need anything, only more time for a longer vacation!
