Canon Del Rio

Beautiful location in the Jemez mountains with a serene, relaxed feel. The rooms are small but well appointed with everything that you need to chill and relax. The property is lovely with access to the river. The inner courtyard with the koi pond, seating area, and hot tub really made for an excellent stay.

We had a wonderful getaway to Canon del Rio. The Inn is very well laid out to ensure both access and privacy. The Apache Room had a firm King bed with luxurious sheets and fluffy robes. Very high quality shampoo, etc. Also a nice patio to view the mountains. The well-appointed common living room is great for relaxing and has a large table for eating, games, etc. Plenty of room in the communal fridge for our food. Nice hot tub and path down to the river with seating. The staff was available during the day, but everything was well-prepared, so we didn't need any assistance. I think the disappointing reviews are from people who visited when a warm, freshly cooked breakfast was offered. That is no longer served, but wonderful food is home made there the day before and left in the fridge for se

This property is clean and quiet. I very much enjoyed my 3 night stay here and did not want to leave. Not crowded and other guests were quiet and considerate. While the property is very nice, it is a self service retreat, not an all inclusive luxury resort, which was perfectly fine with me.

Our stay was perfect. It was so beautiful, peaceful, and romantic. We enjoyed everything about this place - the pool, the mountains views, the koi pond, the great room, the birds chirping… There was so much privacy that it felt the entire place was hours. It went well above our expectations. This place is a hidden gem. My husband and I will be back soon for sure.

What a beautiful peaceful place! The views, the facilities and the staff are top notch. Our time in the hot springs was so relaxing, I can't say enough about this place. If you get the chance to visit you won't regret it.
