Dr. Wilkinson's Backyard Resort & Mineral Springs

My daughter and I just visited Dr. Wilkinson‘s Hot Springs resort for my 60th birthday. We received some amazing Spa treatments. The room was beautiful and I received a bottle of wine and a happy birthday card from the RESORT. That was such a special touch. Every one I encountered was very polite. The mineral pools were so relaxing and the entire stay was just fabulous. Food from the house of better was also very good. But It’s also centrally located with easy access to Calistoga restaurants and shops.

Spacious clean rooms friendly and responsive staff and 4 wonderful pools at various temperatures including an adults only hot tub. There is a cute coffee bar wine and beer right on-site along with a nice restaurant. Overall a very lovely place. Started calling this my happy place. There are on site spa services we did not use. Highly recommended and will definitely return!!!!

I visited for a quick birthday getaway, and from start to finish, the experience was wonderful. Prior to arriving, I emailed with a few questions and received immediate, thoughtful responses. I also booked a massage and mud bath, and they kindly honored an online discount at check-in.||Barbara at check-in was incredibly helpful and welcoming, and we were given a lovely room. We were also invited to a wine happy hour in the evening, which was such a fun and thoughtful touch. The restaurant was delicious, and the service throughout the property was impeccable.||Overall, it was a perfect birthday experience and truly worth every penny. The mineral pools were the absolute highlight, and I already look forward to bringing friends and family back in the future. Highly recommend.

Loved our stay!! We stayed just one night but it was perfect. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The resort itself is super cute! Lunch was delish with a good food menu to choose from. They have a bar with a great selection and even coffee! They have it all! The pools were fantastic. We spent time between the adults only pool and the main pool. Our room was super cute. We stayed in the Art Cabin. It was really spacious and comfortable. We would absolutely come back. We’re local so we might even consider coming back just to use the pools! Thank you!!

came for my wife’s birthday and had a lovely time. we spent the first day in the adult tub and it was heavenly. we also did a mud bath treatment that was so relaxing. trina was our guide and she was amazing! very kind and knowledgeable. The location of the hotel is perfect because it’s close to restaurants and a supermarket next-door. All the staff was very welcoming, helpful and friendly. the only suggestion to the hotel would be to install bidets because the water has magnesium
