DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Tallahassee

If you’re looking for the best location and service in town, this is the place to stay. We spent the weekend here while attending a show, and it was perfect. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed like family. The team made us feel right at home, and the hotel was spotless, clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The location is fantastic, close to everything, with plenty to do within walking distance. It made the whole experience even better. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it!

Fantastic hotel with exceptional staff. Noah at the front desk greeted us with a smile and really went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. The hotel is clean and the location is fantastic. Rooms are spacious. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and the food was very good. Every employee we interacted with had a smile and genuinely wanted to ensure we enjoyed our stay.

Stayed here with family for one night while traveling back from Mississippi. To start off I was a bit disappointed with the check-in process here. We stood in line for roughly 25 minutes waiting to get checked in. After getting checked in we decided we would order room service after a long day of driving. Only to find out the phone in the room was not working. Nevertheless we called the front desk and they were able to help us get transferred to the restaurant. The food was okay, we enjoyed the mac and cheese bites and a pizza. Our 2 queen room was clean and comfortable for an overnight stay. The location of this hotel would be great for anyone looking to enjoy the downtown Tallahassee area. It is in the heart of downtown very close to the capitol building. Positive: Location Negative: Room was overwhelming humid and uncomfortable. There was a dehumidifier and individual mold collection bags in the room. Yet, water droplets were collecting on the ceiling. Everything was damp and musty.

Booked last minute on a spontaneous day trip to Tallahassee and back from Valdosta. I was grateful there was availability at all, especially with the cold, rainy weather all weekend. We originally booked a king room, but upon receiving the key we could hear a full-on party next door before even entering—music, shots, multiple people. We politely asked if we could move rooms (not trying to be party poopers), but there were no other kings available. The staff accommodated us by moving us to a corner double queen, which was much quieter. The receptionist who helped us was extremely friendly and understanding. I really appreciate her professionalism throughout our less than 24 hour experience. Unfortunately, the hotel itself felt very dark and grim throughout—hallways, floors, and the room.
