DoubleTree by Hilton Davenport

For a double tree, this one lacks a lot. It appears some of the rooms are more up to date however, it doesnt make sense. The water faucets can't open and turn because the mirror is in the way, so you only get luke warm water from the faucet. I had to change rooms once because I change the thermostat to 66 but after 6 hours, it was still 79 degrees in the room. The new room was better but stayed at 72 and you could smell the heater was on, even though the thermostat was set to 66 when I was trying to sleep and woke sweating multiple times. It does have a nice gym, and the pool looked good, although I didn't use it. The staff was friendly except, and I know this is very very petty, but as a Hilton Gold member I'm used to being given a cold bottle of water whenever I check into a Hilton Hotel

We had a fantastic stay at the DoubleTree in Davenport, and a huge shout-out to Jaadaa (yes, with a double ‘a’!) for making it extra special. She was incredibly attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The room was spotless, the cookies were warm, and the overall vibe of the hotel was welcoming and comfortable. We’ll definitely be back! Thanks again, Jaadaa!

Positive: The interior design was very impressive and all employees were top notch with friendliness. Went out of their way. Negative: The bathroom was very dusty/dirty in corners, especially the floor and shower. The bathroom door was very dinged up. It would have been nice if there were a microwave in the room.

Lovely stay for our first time in Davenport. King bed room was clean and ready when we arrived, went to the symphony two blocks away, came back and had a good sleep. The breakfast here is pretty good. The sausages and bacon are some of the best I've ever had at a Hilton hotel. Some aspects of the hotel are a little dated, but it was definitely more than what I expected at the price point. Shout-out to the breakfast staff, they were very nice.

This was an amazing hotel. The inside was spectacular. But even more was our check-in. The young man at the front was so compassionate and empathetic with our situation. My cousin was passing away and we just needed to have comfort for a few nights. The customer service agent was so kind and so sweet about getting us checked in and offering us cookies and seeing if there was anything else we needed and then calling up to the room after we got in to make sure that everything was fine. I don't know that I have ever had better service at this hotel. He absolutely deserves a pat on the back for the exceptional service he gave us!♥️😇🙏
