Dossou's Grand Canyon Experiences " A Glamping site"

In general we were disappointed with our stay here. 1. We felt misled from the listing photo showing the property with the Grand Canyon right in the background. The main reason we booked originally was because of the amazing view. In reality, it’s in a field with a bunch of other campers and cabins nearby, 30 minutes away from the actual Grand Canyon. 2. To me, details matter. We stayed 2 nights for $650. For that price I would expect all the creature comforts but instead was met with low water pressure, issues with getting hot water at all, doors that wouldn’t close or kept sticking and a light that was burnt out. The coffee maker is not an espresso machine as mentioned in the listing, the reusable coffee filter had holes in it so our morning coffee was a bit crunchy. Lastly, there were

Dossou Desert Dwelling was the perfect stay for our first visit to the Grand Canyon. The A-frame cabin near the Grand Canyon South Rim is beautifully designed, private, and surrounded by peaceful desert views. We loved the off-grid luxury feel and how close it is to Williams, AZ and Route 66. The highlight was the guided UTV tour to the Grand Canyon. It was adventurous, scenic, and gave us access to incredible viewpoints we would have never found on our own. After a full day exploring, relaxing back at the A-frame made the experience even better. If you’re visiting the Grand Canyon for the first time and want something unique, comfortable, and unforgettable, Dossou Desert Dwelling is a must-stay.

This place is a scam. ON airBNB they show photoshopped pictures with the Canyon RIGHT in the background but the actual location is just a giant dirt plot with some distant hills and a bunch of other houses in view. It is not remote really at all. It also has failing power a lot and has gotten double booked a few times stranding an unlucky party. you can only cancel this place within 24 hours of booking on AIRBNB because they know you will discover soon enough that the pictures are FAKE AS HECK!! Luckily we paid extra to be able to cancel a few days before our trip. They charge you $1200+ more than a comparable place in the same area. This place is a total scam. don't go here!

Quiet off-grid spot in the desert makes for epic stargazing, loud and silly game nights, and serene coffee mornings. Plus it was super convenient to get to the south rim of the Grand Canyon. You almost don't realize you're using sustainable energy and resources. They've done an excellent job with this cabin. I'd highly recommend traveling during the daytime to see if for the first time; the dirt roads are easy to travel but the navigation can be a bit tricky. Host was responsive and helpful for the few questions and situations we had during our stay.

Perfect weekend getaway. Very quiet and remote. Not far from Williams, be sure to book the atv ride experience if you have time. Definitely booking again this summer to get out of the Phoenix heat.
