Don's Cab-Inns Campground

Beds were comfortable. Good location. Don’t forget your bedsheets, pillows and blankets. Mini fridge, microwave were cleaned. There’s a small heater and AC. Restrooms are clean. I definitely recommend this place to my family and friends. This was my second time at Don’s cab-inns and it has been a great experience both times. Thank you!!!!

Stayed in RV Site 3. The spaces were spacious and didn’t feel on top of each other. However, the electrical box was set pretty far from the even site so we had to get a longer electrical cord. The water is centralized and you can’t stay hooked up during your stay. The restrooms/showers were clean and some of the best I’ve experienced.

We stayed at Don’s Cab-Inns somewhat unexpectedly. We were traveling the Blue Ridge Parkway and the campground we were planning to stay at was closed due to the shutdown. We had some trouble reaching them by phone and couldn’t successfully reserve online. However, when we drove up the staff was super friendly and helpful and recommended we stay in cabin 10 which has heat and is convenient to the bathrooms. The cabin was perfect - cozy and warm with a queen mattress and double size loft bunk (which we didn’t need, being only two people). We cooked dinner on the campfire and breakfast on a hot plate (ours, not provided, although the cabin has a refridgerator, microwave and single serve coffee machine). Like others say, staff super friendly, bath house and yurt were immaculately clean. Small store on site... perfect location to see illuminights. (Both campground and illuminights were inside explore park.) Only downside was the wi fi. Was assured upon booking wi fi was available in yurts. Could only get enough reception for it to work outside. We were in the closest yurt to bath house where routers were. (Almost directly in front of bath house.) Didn't see any other reviews about wifi not working so hopefully it was just an isolated weekend for poor reception. Would probably return but only with a hot spot.
