We do not camp here but mainly drive up to swim and fish for the afternoon. There are multiple swim holes and fish are stocked through early summer. You can enjoy a picnic here or hike a ways to find your own secluded hole. Keep in mind this place is popular in summer but if you arrive early you have a pick of spots. The fishing can be fair to incredible depending on the time of year. I have caught some rather large brook trout in here as well as brown trout and rainbow trout are the main stay. I suggest bringing lifejackets because some holes are rather deep.
Great place for family/friends camping. Cute swimming holes that can be hiked to or head to the end of the road for the day use area which has a natural water slide and more swimming holes. Toilets were super clean and camp spaces very well kept. Trees are a little scarce right now, but we had plenty of shade in our spaces. The store and pay showers are convenient for anyone not really into the roughing it kind of camping. Would definitely do another "family" camping trip.
I visited pre Memorial Day weekend and the campground was wide open. The campground is well maintained with flush toilets and water in the restrooms. Campsites were distributed in a way where you are not on top of each other. Great experience.
Great place to bring your family. Campground is very large and each site is nicely spaced out from your neighbor. Restrooms are well kept. Bring your own water to do chores like washing dishes washing hands. The water sites are "boil before use." Camp host are friendly and helpful. They have paid per use showers I didn't use them but they are there. Plenty to do around the area. lots of opportunities to explore. Bears are in the area, so come prepared. Over all, I'd give this campground 10/10.
What a great place to spend time with family. KIDS LOVED IT. Restrooms were kept clean. Camp sites had plenty of space in between. Creek was not crowded, considering it was the weekend after July 4th. There is plenty of space to be away from other groups.
