We stayed for two nights in a beautiful King bedroom overlooking the Esopus Creek — the view felt straight out of a movie. From the moment we arrived, the calm atmosphere and warm hospitality made the experience truly special, especially for an autumn weekend getaway. The room was thoughtfully arranged, creating the perfect space to unwind. The town of Saugerties is picturesque and just a pleasant five-minute walk from the hotel. The on-site Black Barn restaurant is excellent, and within a 15-minute walk you can reach the spa, where guests can enjoy complimentary amenities including a sauna, jacuzzi, cold plunge, and gym. There are also lovely walks right from the hotel, like the 35-minute stroll to the Lighthouse. Overall, Diamond Mills Hotel exceeded our expectations — a serene and mem

The hotel is located on a river and is a nice choice for the area. The restaurant and spa are very nice. The restaurant is a short 1 minute walk and the spa is a 10 minute walk or 3 minute drive. I highly recommend the spa. ||The hotel itself is nice. The front desk was very helpful and were available to answer any questions or requests we had. The suite we stayed in was spacious and clean however does need some cosmetic repairs. The suite is the only room on the bottom floor which is nice for privacy. ||The hotel is close to town so it’s very walkable. There is a variety of restaurants and shops nearby in town.

First impression - the desk staff are friendlier at the local jail. No smiles. Mono word answers. Just grunts and a key card. Nothing like feeling welcomed by unhappy employees. The room was beautiful. Very nicely appointed. Great bathroom. A very comfortable bed. The view of the falls is really nice. Breakfast was pathetic. Everything came wrapped in plastic. Nothing fresh. Considering the room was nearly $500 for one night, it's a shameful way to send guests on their way in the morning. This hotel is more Motel 6 with very nice rooms than a hotel that you might want to return to. I would avoid this trap, and suggest you find a local B&B with a welcoming atmosphere and a home-made breakfast.

Although the rooms are outdated or whatever you wanna call it it’s kind of nice the ambience do you wanna call with that. But we were here for my daughter‘s wedding and my room did not get turned over or cleaned towels weren’t changed nothing it was horrible, and I am the mother of the bride and everybody knew that. Also, while I am waiting because I asked the front desk guy to get me the towels and toiletries while I was waiting they have a Keurig machine which is fabulous, but it had no water in it so who’s supposed to put the water he said the people that come in the morning? Come on either hook up water to the damn thing or have people check on the water level on the stupid Keurig machine. This is very unacceptable. This is not a cheap place to come to very very disappointed.

We were not here for the hotel. We hosted an engagement dinner for our son and his fiancé on a private dining room at the Blackbarn restaurant on the premises.i chose this place fir two main reasons. One being that in the past they have provided excellent Vegan food for my vegan guests - this time the Vegan Mushroom Ragout was disgusting! Location was the second reason I chose Diamond Mills. Not to far off of the New York State Thruway exit 20 for my huests coming from the Lake George area..
