Desert Inn

Despite the fact that this old-style motel is rated the no, 2 hotel /motel in Brawley, you really have to work to find it on Trip Advisor. What a shame! The rooms are clean, comfortable and modern. Ours ( two double beds) had a pretty good size fridge with a separate freezer department and a microwave, so you can shop across the street at the grocery store and nuke yourself a meal. Best of all, for us, is that it's a one- story motel so you can park outside your room and moy have to walk upstairs. I must admit that we liked the fact that there weren't a lot of other travelers here, so it was very quite. But the nice people who own it deserve more business. The only things that keep it from 5 stars are no in-room coffee and no charging ports. But it does have a few washing machines near the

Clean, Kind and Comfortable! I felt very welcome here! The family who owns and runs this hotel is so very kind and clearly they take pride and care into cleanliness. Soft bedroom and bathroom linens and comfortable sleep. The price is very affordable for what you get. Thank you guys so much! (It was a pleasure to speak about Royal Enfield motorbikes with you!) My experience in this hotel for the first time it was nice being in the hotel. They have great service. I needed help with clogging the toilet and cleaning, hotel service helped me. They are super nice. Beds are comfy and clean. They have fresh sheets. Highly recommend this place to stay..

We stayed here when our RV needed work, and it was affordable and very clean, with a fridge and ample bathroom counter space. Everything worked. Staff was very warm and helpful. We didn't find the beds very comfy, and our shower was underwhelming, but the clean room and welcoming staff made this a good little spot to crash.

Stayed 6/12/17 overnight. Rooms were ready early, the manager was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were a bit small, but clean fresh smelling, everything worked, large flat screen TV, airconditioning worked great, bed was very comfortable. Vons Market/Starbucks across the street. Everything was perfect for a place to overnight and get a fesh start. Hotel was quiet. Great deal!
