Delux Inn

I liked it. It was a nice vintage roadside Motel. Yes it's older but it was clean and inexpensive. Staff was kind and courteous. I like these older motels if you can find them in good shape. This one will not upset. Small refrigerator and microwave Wi-Fi. Very quiet a nice piece of American nostalgia.

If I could give this motel negative stars, I would! Worst motel experience of my life! We were in a time crunch and needed to grab about 4 hrs sleep before being on our way again. Four bulbs over the bathroom sink, but only one worked. There was a glass shelf over the bathroom faucet that kept you from pulling the faucet handle up! Could only get a trickle of water in the sink. But the worst was when I turned the water on in the morning to take a shower. No tub, just a small shower stall. The water came out so rusty and the water didn't drain, so the dark, rusty water filled the bottom of the shower stall...a good 8 inches! It was so dark that you couldn't even see the bottom of the shower stall! I let the water run for maybe 5 minutes, but it never got any better. When I finall

Where to even start? We got in around 10pm so we rang the bell, and waited for the owner to open the door. After 5 minutes waiting in the cold we rang again since it looked like it would have been the cheaper place compared to a lot of the other hotels/motels in the area. Finally a woman answered. She was nice enough, and we paid 65$ per room which was a bit much in my opinion compare to the 45$ we had paid the night before at another motel. ||||Get into the room and oh my God. It looked like i had walked into a horror movie motel. It was clean enough looking, but the “queen” beds were full sized beds and the ceiling had floating tiles that had extreme water damage which would have been fine...until we opened the bathroom door. ||||A hefty smell of mushrooms, mildew, and sulfur well water

I am staying here right now--the nights of August 19 and 20, 2017. If you want brand-new appliances and all the amenities a spoiled suburbanite can have, then go ahead and spend $100 to $150 a night, but all I need is a clean room, clean bathroom, a door that locks, quiet neighbors, and in summer a working air conditioner. This place has all of those. The manager (or perhaps he was the owner) was very friendly and (as everyone seems to notice) was extremely accommodating. I give out either one-star or five-star reviews very reluctantly, and all things considered this is one of the best I've stayed at in years. Had the price been ten dollars lower, this one would have rated five stars.
