Delray Breakers on the Ocean

I absolutely love this hotel! The rooms are spacious, newly renovated and the decor is really cute! The kitchen was fantastic!! I loved that it was dog friendly!! Only “downside” which really isn’t a big deal is that the washroom is a bit small and needs to be updated but that really didn’t matter too much because the water pressure was great! And I have to say both Tricia and Jerri are wonderful!! I’m looking forward to coming back here soon! It’s also located on the best part of the beach 🏖️ I stayed at the seagate hotel and to be honest, and I mean truly honest… this one is the one I recommend to everyone when they visit Delray ❤️

I had a terrible experience at this hotel. I booked and paid for a top-tier room, but upon arrival with my emotional support dog, the staff refused to honor my reservation. They told me that the room type I booked was “not for pets” and only offered me a downgrade to a lower-tier room.||To make matters worse, both the receptionist and the manager were extremely rude and dismissive. After denying us the stay, they even refused restroom access to my wife, saying the restrooms were “not for public.”||Regardless of policies on emotional support animals, the way we were treated was unprofessional, disrespectful, and completely unacceptable. I would strongly advise others to avoid this property.

We had such a nice stay. I surprised my husband for his birthday with a little staycation. I had instacart drop off food and balloons. Tricia was great with communication from the beginning. The rooms were so charming and spacious. We spent the night playing cards and hanging out outside and the morning sipping coffee by the ocean. Quiet, peaceful, friendly, and clean.

I hesitate to write this review of Delray Breakers on the Ocean solely because I'm selfish. As it is, one needs to book their stay wayyy ahead of time in order to secure a reservation. This property is the only one in Delray where you can have a private beach steps away from your door for a very reasonable cost. The entire property has been getting renovated and the results are beautiful. My current unit has a brand new, upgraded kitchen. The pool is always crystal clear and the grounds are very well kept. The staff is wonderful and I love that they strictly adhere to their rules so that everyone has pleasant experience. If one wants to be loud or break the fair rules, this is not the place to come. I continue to return to Breakers every time I'm in Florida and honestly, if I can't stay
