Deerwoode Reserve

We took our family (23 people) including their dogs for an after Christmas get together for 3 days during the holidays. We could not have had a better experience, The Lodge was perfect as a gathering place and we we able to cook some of the meals, which saved $$. The kids, ages 4 to 18; had a great time running free and playing around the ponds and hiking. All of us were sad it was over. We would definitely recommend it for large ( and small) family reunions, Great location, great facility, and great weather!! Thanks Dionne and Scott and staff!

Holiday Celebration! We stayed at Deerwoode Reserve for the 3rd Annual Festival of Lights, December 18-21. It was truly at special event - like an old fashioned Christmas with lights everywhere, hayrides, hot cocoa/cider, popcorn and lots of fun activities! Each cabin was decorated in a Christmas movie theme by a local business and they were spectacular. This was our 4th visit to the property and every season presents a different beauty. We love the Bear Cabin, a 1 bed studio style space with beautiful original fireplace and a view of all the festivities going on. Highly recommend Deerwoode Reserve to anyone looking for a relaxing and fun getaway!!!

We absolutely loved our stay at Deerewood Reserve! We stayed in the Barn Cabin and it was perfect for our family — adorable, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The outdoor areas were a highlight for us as well. We spent plenty of time relaxing on the deck, gathering around the firepit in the evenings, and just enjoying the peaceful beauty of the property. The land itself is stunning. We hiked the trails, wandered around the ponds, and even ventured into the Bamboo Forest, which was dense, dark, and just the right amount of thrilling — an experience we won’t forget! The cabin was spotless and well stocked with everything we needed, including plenty of linens and towels. We also really appreciated that the firewood was replenished throughout our stay. We’re already planning to come back

Deerwoode Reserve is spectacular. If you’re looking for peace, quiet, stunning nature & beautiful views, this is the place!|We’ve stayed at Deerwoode on several occasions, in different cabins on the property. Absolutely love it! We relax, my husband fishes, long walks, etc. We like to go into Brevard for dinner, which is only a few minutes down the road. There’s so much to do in this area.|The owners, Scott & Dionne, are the most awesome people! They take care of everything, and work hard to make your stay the best ever.

We have used the Coyote Lodge at Deerwoode Reserve for our company Christmas Party the last 3 years and it is consistently a great experience. Scott and Dionne are super easy to work with. Always clean and ready to go, the space is beautiful, warm, and perfect to just hang out and relax. And having 2 fridges makes all the difference to keep food and drinks for 30-40 people. Thanks for another great year!
