Campbell House

This home is a great location to walk downtown, but we will not stay there again. Our bed was comfortable, but the sheets had an obvious stain and I found several hairs in the bed (not sure the sheets had been washed?). Also, the space between the window a/c and window ledge allowed bugs to come in. I swatted away at least 8-10 tiny flies on the bed and on my table lamp. |We also found it odd to not have any cups for water in the room and I had to borrow a couple of hangers from a different room, as ours had none. | Also we chose not to shower as the shower had black mold around the bottom sides….so again, not well maintained. This is a great little gem right in the heart of Brevard. We enjoyed being able to leave the car parked out front and walk into town for dinner, drinks, and music at night. The host--while lovely in person--does not respond via email (which is the best way to reach her according to her confirmation email). She just never responded. The bed was not the most comfortable, but at this price point and location, you really can't go wrong.

The bed and linens were very comfortable and the room was very well kept and clean. Daniel was very helpful with recommendations for the area. Plenty of space to lounge and enjoy outside patio. We walked everywhere! Only wished we could have stayed longer. We would love to stay again!

Location is nice and our room was okay. The water in our room never got hot, lukewarm at best . Unfortunately for us the timing wasn’t the best as far as having breakfast, there was none. It was just after the New Year so our hosts were not around. All in all we were a little disappointed, having said that we would stay again given that we know things happen in life and business.

We absolutely loved staying at the Campbell House in Brevard. It is a beautiful home that is very tastefully decorated. We stayed in Sassafras Knob and found it to be roomy and comfortable. My husband enjoyed reading on the balcony and I enjoyed the cushy bed for my reading :) Elaine and Ken were excellent hosts who made us feel very welcome and “at home.” Breakfast was a quiche (or, as we call it in the south, Breakfast Pie) served with bacon, fresh fruit, orange juice and coffee. The location could not be better. Brevard’s Main Street is a nice stroll with interesting shops and restaurants. One of the best restaurants is directly across the street from Campbell House, Marco’s. Campbell House is also located very close to the Brevard Music Center. Go. You will not be disappoint
