Cedar Ridge Base Camp

Me and my wife where looking for a quiet escape from the chaos. We found this gem. We absolutely loved this campsite. We talked with the owner for a bit and they had a great story on how they got it up and running. They are great people and that makes this spot even better than it already is. We definitely recommend it.

Great primitive car camping spots with lots of hammock trees. Clean privy, firerings in all sites and basic shower facilities at a decent price.

Exactly what camping is meant to be. Nice secluded spot in the woods far back from the highway. It's located near the end of the pavement off Sherwood Ridge Rd., where it turns to gravel, on the left. The sign is small, but you'll see plenty of spots designated for camping. There are fire pits, a toilet, water, and plenty of trees to hammock camp. Dollar General is nearby. Andy recommended hiking Big Rock and Cedar Rock, and they didn't disappoint. Check this place out.
