Deer Valley Ranch

We had our daughter’s wedding at the Ranch. The rooms and cabins were clean and comfortable. The setting for the wedding at the base of the chalk cliffs was beautiful. The lodge was perfect for the reception. The only issue was concerning personal items getting lost during clean up( a framed picture of the Grandparents on the memory table). I feel like Stacey, the owner, could have been a little more sensitive to the situation with regard to the newlyweds. Would I recommend them? YES

We had a great ride with Deer Valley Riding Stables. The views of the Chalk Cliffs were amazing, and the horses were well behaved and easy to handle. The staff were welcoming and fun. Our wranglers, Blake and Molly, were patient, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel safe. ||||We stayed in a lodge room at Deer Valley Ranch and it was so convenient that the stables were located on property. The lodge was cozy and the rooms were clean. We enjoyed the fire place in the common space and went on a short hike on property. We didn't have time to visit the sports court but there was a lot of equipment available that guests could borrow.

We only went for the horseback riding and it was a great experience! They were very accommodating (I left a message and they called back right away), friendly and knowledgeable. The guide taught us a lot about the horses and kept us safe. The trails were adventurous with great views of the chalk cliffs. We would definitely choose them again next time!

Highly recommend horseback riding at Deer Valley Ranch!! We were so happy to see they opened back up again for trail rides! Cory took my family of four out on a two hour trail ride. He was awesome and answered our millions of questions about horses - thanks Cory! :) We rode right under the Chalk Cliffs of Mt. Princeton. It was so cool to be able to get so close to this amazing part of the mountain. Cory was patient and kind with our kids - in their riding and asking questions! It was the most personal trail ride we have been on - it did not feel like a big group production. Bev was awesome at communicating about our booking and getting us scheduled. Can't wait to ride again next summer! Thanks so much!

Our trail ride with Deer Valley Ranch Riding Stables was fantastic! From start to finish, the experience was well-organized, friendly, and so scenic. The staff was welcoming and knowledgeable, making sure everyone felt comfortable, especially the first time riders in our group.|The trail gets so close to the Chalk Cliffs which was beautiful.
