Deep Roar Lodge

Deep Roar Lodge is the perfect vacation rental. The house is spacious and you never feel crowded even with a large group. The kitchen is fully stocked and there is a washer & dryer available. It is located in a beautiful scenic setting with hiking trails near by, Monarch Ski Resort is close by. Take a short trip into Salida for shopping and dining at the numerous restaurants. While in town, check out the activities on the Arkansas River or visit the parks, kids will love them! There is a great Ice Cream Parlor that you don’t want to miss! We are looking forward to our next stay at this lovely lodge!

We were fortunate to get a chance to stay at Deep Roar Lodge in Garfield, Colorado. This is a stunning house that sits just off and above Highway 50 west of Salida and just a few miles from Monarch Pass. It's in a small neighborhood but the houses are far enough apart to provide privacy while also providing the security of not being completely alone in the wilderness. The location is perfect as it is close to many trailheads, skiing, fishing, kayaking and any number of outdoor activities. Nearby Salida offers a variety of restaurants, parks and shopping as well as convenience and grocery stores. The owners were prompt and courteous with communication, reservation was a snap, all of the instructions were clear so the experience was seamless from start to finish. When we arrived we entered

Beautiful location close enough to town to get supplies but still in the woods. The house is beautiful and spacious with a garage and great deck off of kitchen. We will definitely rent again.

Amazing home! We've been in Summer and Winter. Sledding right in front of the house. So close to Monarch mountain and Salida. Cass the host is great if you need help.
