Deadwood Miners Hotel & Restaurant

Hotel had the feel of a vintage motel - a little worn on the edges but clean and comfortable with nice staff. Ate breakfast both mornings at the on-site restaurant. Good classic breakfast with VERY friendly service. They were short staffed one morning but you never would have know it because the service was fast but never felt rushed or in the way. Definitely the place to stay!!

This hotel is really wonderful! We enjoyed the motel aspect where the doors were on the outside, as it made it easier for us to load and unload, and walk our dogs. This is a pet friendly hotel; i have a seizure assistance dog, and my husband brought his pet dog. They us in a room right by a grassy area for them to go poddy, very considerate. The room was cozy and comfy and cute, and the nice lady who worked Monday the 13th when we checked in was incredibly sweet; i had to keep bugging her about like, everyone or 4 different things and not once did she look irritated or make me feel bad. Super nice!!!!

The staff was VERY helpful! Tina answered all my questions and was so friendly. The hotel is definitely dated, although the room was comfortable. The place does have a restaurant that belongs to the hotel. Great breakfast. Not real great dinner. Looks like the hotel is trying to install a hot tub. That would be nice for the cooler nights. Lots of motorcycle traffic but, it's the week before Sturgis. Price was fair. I wouldn't have a problem staying here again. I just can't say enough how friendly the staff was. Thanks Tina.

Have never stayed at the motel but have eaten numerous times in the restaurant. Very good food, a little crowded due to size, short wait time, very generous portions, home town feel, with a great basic menu. BUT... the restaurant staff and cooks are the greatest. There are not enough adjectives to describe them and the most friendly bunch under pressure ever. A fantastic crew each time we have been there. They always deserve the 35+% I leave. Highly recommend!!!!
