Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Tucson AZ

Inexpensive and clean. Friendly staff let an exhaustive traveler check in early. Because of how early I was there, my inexpensive room was not yet ready and they cheerfully upgraded me to a suite so I could get some rest. I operate nights, so the next morning I was a little slow moving and they were friendly about waking me from my extended slumber. These particular suites, I would definitely recommend for a family. You've got some privacy from the kids. That wasn't my situation but I thought it worth noting. The rooms very a little bit on what they have so if that's your situation I would talk to the desk early about that. This hotel is most definitely not a place you would want to go to with your children. It has a very bad reputation however, I was here 2 years ago and it was definitely like night and day. The couple that own the place are married and they have seriously worked some miracles on this hotel!! I was completely dumbfounded when I came back this time and saw how much time and money those two have put in the place. This hotel used to be absolutely a miserable place to stay and because of the couple that have the hotel now, this place has really cleaned up nicely!! There is still a lot more work to do here but, they are really off to a great start!! 😀

Although this place is listed as Days Inn & Suites by Windham, apparently it is not one that is affiliated with the corporation. We booked online which makes it difficult to check out thoroughly. And reviews aren't always reliable. Nonetheless, here we go. While there to check in another customer was in process of challenging the front desk clerk to get his money back because of broken and damaged items in his room. Another woman came up to inform us that their room wasn't cleaned and they found used q-tips on the nightstand along with their room being smelly. We opted to go check out our room. It wasn't too bad. But the shower curtain rod was loose and the room curtains were not hung correctly. Plus the toilet flush handle was not attached to the tank. However, the room appeared clean, an

Worst hotel experience I've ever had. I like Days Inn, they are usually well run and clean. This place was disgusting. To start off none of the locks worked on the doors. I had asked for non smoking but the room reeked of cigarettes. The pics are the dresser in the main part of the room, and the lock on the bedroom door. I should have known going in based on the vagrants smoking weed in the parking lot. The girl working the desk was understanding and offered to switch my rooms but I decided to find a new hotel. I was refunded.

First let me say that the night Manager tried to fix the issues my family and I had with both rooms. We booked a non smoking room. As soon as we opened the door, it smelled like damp old smoke. The comforter had two cigarette burns in it. Also had stains on the bed sheets, along with long and short hairs. I complained to the manager and he said that was the best room in the hotel. He offered me a different room. We went to go check it out before moving all of our things over. THE ROOM WAS WORSE! The master bed had BLOOD Stains on it and it smelled like old carpet mixed with a wet dog. I think I just insulted the dog smh. We decided to stay in the original "Presidential Suite" the Manager and his assistant came by changed all the sheets and offered an apology. He also took pictures of every
