Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Trinidad

Stayed there with a group on a road trip. We had 2 rooms. We ended up not getting any sleep because whoever was staying in the room 2 doors down from us had their tv on as loud as it would go all night long and they kept running in and out all night slamming the doors. We tried to get the person working at the front desk to tell them to be quiet, but they didn’t do anything except get rude with us. Pretty sure the same people who were being loud also kept revving their engine on their sports car because when we stayed there the only vehicles in the parking lot by where our rooms were was our 2 vehicles and a sports car.

Positive: Can't miss it from the highway. The lady from housekeeping was nice. Negative: The lobby was locked overnight because one of the staff was using it as a bedroom (lots of windows). This prevented me from getting ice for my lunchpail-size cooler. What's going on Wyndham? Is this a hotel or a FLOPHOUSE?

I ditto comments of previous reviewer. This place was almost like a second home to us. We staid here at least 3 times a year, on all our trips to Colorado. We are heartbroken if it’s closed. Sure hope some new investors take interest. Of all the low budget hotels in Trinidad, I can’t believe THIS is the one that closed down. Crazy. It’s not the Taj Majal, but it’s great for budget travelers. It was the perfect location logistically, perfect location for beautiful sunsets, the restaurant and bar was great, decent breakfasts, clean and spacious rooms, outdoor smoking areas, a pool, dispensary next door. If this place can’t survive, how do the others??

The room was nice and it was clean. A little hard to get to but really not to bad. They have restaurant there and it was great!! Would stay there again and the price was very reasonable.

This used to be my regular stay while on business in Trinidad area but when I arrived 10-23-25 the Hotel was closed down permanently. The Sunrise bar and grill will also close down permanently on 10-31-25. It was an older hotel but was always clean, comfortable, and affordable. I will definitely miss staying there and eating at the restaurant as it was definitely top tier, some of the best steaks not just in taste but also how they were served. Hopefully someone or another franchise will reopen the hotel as it is literally right off I25 northbound and still has a lot of life and potential in it in my opinion.
