Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Orlando Airport

Excellent service and attentive staff. We checked out at 5 am and were able to pick up some breakfast items the night before. Convenient location for getting to the airport.

Positive: The staff were amazing! They gave us a bottom floor since we would be returning our rental car and needed to unload everything that night. We then would be loading everything the next morning into our Lyft. Negative: The room had a strange smell, there were very little soap or towels. The A/C was not working properly. We probably should have said something that night, but we were just too tired and had to much to move, and it was not terrible. Just an inconvenience.

My requirements were met for a basic room, near the Orlando airport where I would arrive after 10:00 PM and stay just one night before continuing on to Lady Lake, FL the next morning. There is no airport shuttle even though their web page says so. The front desk staff were nice enough. Jhan was courteous and had a nice smile. The pool was closed down for some unknown reason. Once in my room, I was immediately overcome with a distinct moldy smell. Upon looking at the room I noticed a softball sized pile of ceiling debris that had fallen all over a corner floor lamp. The ceiling in that corner by the front window looked wet and crumbling. There were parts of the wall by the bathroom that had been cut out and replaced without spackling. Booked a quick one night stay here with Days Inn… Angie was great. I called ahead and told her my ETA and she said she would have a room ready to go upon our arrival. Check-In was a breeze. Room smelt really clean; you can tell they’re under major construction but we were very pleased. Only complaint is there’s no toilet paper rolls in the room… just a roll on the back of the toilet lol. Must be last on the punch list

My only complaint was the bathroom. It is definitely small. There wasn’t a toilet paper holder which was very odd to me but not a huge deal. And the toilet would constantly run until you turned the valve off waited a moment and turned it back on. Room was clean. Location is very good. Was worth the price. They were doing renovations which I didn’t know until I got there and saw but didn’t stop me from staying.
