Days Inn by Wyndham Shallotte

This is the worst hotel in America. No hot water. The manager said one thing and the maintenance man said something totally different. It's 39 degrees here and they expect you to take a shower in ice cold water. This is bs. I came here because I had a funeral to attend. This is the worst ever. The manager said he would give me a discount. Man I can not shower in a discount.

I had a great time on vacation. I'm glad I stayed here. Everybody was very nice; Sara at the front desk made us feel very welcome on arrival, and the housekeepers went out of their way to make sure our room was comfortable. Deanna at the front desk was nice enough to make us a brand new pot of coffee when we asked her if that was ok; she was more than happy to do that for us. Bryan, the guy working breakfast in the morning, was very polite to us and let us get breakfast a little earlier than it normally goes out. We had a big day ahead of us, and that helped us start out on the right foot with our bellies full. Upon our checkout the checkout process was fast and easy so we could hurry up and get back on the road to go home. All in all, I definitely recommend this hotel. Thank you guys for

Reserved a king. When checking in was told they had oversold and only had a room with two beds. We objected and began looking for the number for the Best Western and voila - the problem was magically fixed. I wonder who ended up getting their room switched and getting the two beds. They had my email and phone number and could have easily contacted me before I showed up.||I certainly did not feel like I was a valued customer.||The mattress was very soft and sunk into the middle. There were some type of metal bars on one side that my wife had to cover with a towel to keep from scraping her leg.||Breakfast was the basic powdered eggs and carb fest so we opted to decline and head to town for something much better.||Disappointed and would never stay again.

Positive: Staff was friendly when you could find them. Good location for the area. Negative: Room was dirty and smelled like sewer. No hot water for the five days we stayed at the hotel. Room door needs to be fixed, does not secure and anyone can open it by pushing hard on it. Tub would not drain. No housekeeping even when asked after 3rd day

DO NOT STAY here! The room is dirty, there is NO HOT WATER, TV doesn’t work, coffee maker doesn’t work. Reported hot water issue to front desk and they said it was because the hotel was fully booked! You mean to tell me if your hotel is fully booked that you won’t have hot water???? Just ridiculous! Manager was supposed to call me but didn’t! Live and learn. I should have heeded the reviews! My stay was from 10-24/10-27 Room 207
