Days Inn by Wyndham Ogallala

Great place to unwind and take a load off. Clean and comfy room! Breakfast was delicious! Close to Lake McConaughey! Affordable prices. Electric features included! The bell hop wasn't fluent in English, but he was a fun guy to practice sign language with. From his point of view, I wasn't hindi fluent. 'Always look on the bright side of life.'

The service at this hotel was horrible. At checkout I realized that i left something in the room. So i took my bags to the truck and came back to get a key because i left mine sitting on the bed for them to retrieve. I had to wait an extensive time and on top of that when she came down she was very rude and immediately started saying i will charge you $5 if you ask for another key because she was frustrated that she had to come dow and give me a key. I told her well mam no key was lost i was just checking out and realized i left something in my room.

Positive: Nothing. It was gross Negative: Trash everywhere. Their kids riding bikes in hall at night

Horrible experience. Was waiting to check in with my advanced booking for 45 mins. The manager/owner was not available. And had to yell out if anyone was available for check in. And when the owner/manager finally came out he was Hammered Drunk and sloppy and was busy being passed out in the back instead of working the front desk. He was barely coherent. And then watched creepily as I left with my family. Absolutely disgusted with Days Inn especially since it should be under the care of Wyndham Hotels.

Normally I say, “You get what you pay for.” But the next night of my trip, I paid less and got so much more comfort and a better breakfast (St. George, UT). I really wanted to like this place as I’ve stopped in the area several times in the past. Unfortunately it has been a number of years since I have been through the area and I can tell it has gone significantly down hill. Though the room is big, the whole place smells. There was hair on the bathroom sink and the toilet seat was pealing apart. It felt dirty but had potential. The fitness room was stinky with the towel rack empty and the water fountain unusable. I would not recommend this place.
