Days Inn by Wyndham New Market Battlefield

It is a motel with so much potential but very poorly maintained and managed. I understand that they are undergoing renovation, but leaving all the stuff (beds, mattresses, chairs!) outside by the main door is weird. Speaking of the room, it was not good either - there was a distinct chemical smell everywhere especially the bathroom. The room had musty heavy air and they have this very disgusting hanging thing which was I assume for catching bugs but there are so many better options. The lobby was a sad place with 4 sofas and a microwave. The room did not have hair dryer or even toiletries. Plus they only do house keeping if you schedule it. Towels were not very clean and had a horrible smell. The bathroom floor was dirty too. How did I forget to mention that there were only two power outle

Positive: The hotel was close to the event I was attending. Negative: The hotel was dirty. My room was covered in some slick film all over the floors, walls, mirror, and windows, baseboards and shower were dirty, ceiling in shower was falling down. When I cleaned the floor to get the residue off the towel I used was black.

Horrible. I have not tried Days in in a few years and was watching hotel costs, but wow! This was the worst Days In that I have ever stayed in. There was rust on anything metal in the room (Fridge, luggage rack, and ironing board). Bathroom needed some work in the cleanliness department. Brown marks on any edges of the floor or toilet. Leftover soap wrapper in the shower remained from the previous guest. Dirty spots on the room walls were obvious. There was 1 (one) hanger on the rack. Cigarette burn marks in the bottom of the ice bucket.||||The continetal breakfast included coffee, a banana, and a Great Value granola bar. They called it grab and go.||||This was cheap and the sheets were clean. Bed was good.

No hot water and the door didn’t close in bathroom because the toilet purchased for room was too big. There was a large bloodstain on the top sheet, when I went down to ask for a fresh one the front desk worker said “the management doesn’t trust me with the laundry keys”. The lady working at the front desk was the only positive experience of staying here. Sounds like this place needs new management. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Couldn't stay. I'd rather sleep in a rest area down the highway. I've attached pictures as evidence. Upon arrival I was informed there was no breakfast available even though it was advertised on the website. The rooms also do not have coffee makers and microwaves like advertised on the website. Upon entering 206, this is what I saw stained matresses, one stain was actually blood. Blood stains on the ironing board. Standing water due to clogged hair. Also a problem with mold and bugs. I am actually having these conditions investigated, not only for the return of my monies but being exposed to this kind of conditions can be a true health concern.
