Blue Ridge Inn

The room was actually a quaint, nice surprise. Back to basics. Mini fridge, microwave, clean room, very roomy shower and ac Super rude, disrespectful, unwelcoming, and rather hateful lady running the place. I was in a crisis situation, sent by a local church... She is lucky I had no choice of my stay. I don't know how she sleeps at night.

You can't beat the price, my fiance and I stayed for one night and it was only $45. The lady that checked us in was very nice and very efficient, she checked us in quickly and was very friendly while doing so. The room we stayed in was very clean and it was stocked with everything we needed, towels, soap, shampoo etc. The rooms are on the smaller side but still plenty of room that you don't feel crowded. Blue Ridge Inn is definitely a place that we would stay again and again, because of the clean rooms, friendly staff and especially the price!

I stay here for a week and at first it was just me then my gf came to stay with me and the lady got mad for that and told me to never come back there again and told us to get out immediately so we had 20 minutes to get out of there before she called the cops. I get that if there is more than one person you have to pay more and when I got the place I didn't expect to actually have company and before she acted that way I offered to pay more but she told us to get out or she was calling the cop's.. I've stayed at a lot of hotels and never have I ever been treated like this and I in no way deserved that especially since I offered more money! I would highly recommend not coming here the lady is very disrespectful although it was a good price for staying there I would recommend just paying a lit

I was traveling along I-81 and just needed a place to sleep. This place had pretty good reviews so I figured I'd give it a try. It is definitely no frills, but it had everything I needed; mini fridge, microwave, tv. For $40, I got a fairly comfortable bed with hospital clean sheets and clean everything else. Some people are turned off by older places, but everything worked well and there was plenty of room. I returned a week later on my way back, this time with my girlfriend, and she enjoyed it, too. Close to New Market so easy access to eateries and local attractions.

Apparently children are not allowed in this hotel. The rude owner explained that she had rooms available and asked how many guests. I told her 2 adults and a small child. She said the rooms aren't big enough for that many people. I told her we wouldn't have any problem with all sleeping in one bed or being a little cramped. She then said that she would have problem with it and hung up on me.
